Nobody in recruitment likes April Fools' Day.  It's hard enough telling whether the CVs some people submit are intentional jokes at the best of times.  So it was nice to get this unambiguously jocular email from the company who recently did our web stationery.

Best get back to work.  I have to format a CV I've just received from a Mr Yehudi Mantlepiece of Nether Scratchbottom.

The flying penguin thing was a prank? I suppose I'd better take the fish out of my bird-feeder.

can you imagine if they could do that with the website though? would be ace , well unless you were a manure manufacturer or something :-)

Our website would smell of microwaved pasta meals and the occasional Pot Noodle.

I'm sure it'll be possible one day. In the meantime, scratch-n-sniff business cards might be doable...

good question - prob go for a mint aftershave such as Givenchy 'Pour Homme' , original Boss or original Joop. would be some sweet shit ha ha

Love 'em, especially the Gmail custom time. Scary thing is, the Virgle thing will probably come to pass exactly as they've outlined in... Cheers for posting these links.
